I am one of an underground metal listener as well as a biggest fan. I listen to thrash metal, death metal, progressive metal, black metal and all sorts of metal genres that ever exist..Yet, It's not my way of life.. The reason why I'm into this genres are because:~
- Love/slow songs freaks me out..
- It's a stress-released music [for me]..
- There are truth behinds all of the harsh lyrics.. I give you one example. This lyric is taken from a metal song and it says:
'..Our desire is more but more will never be enough..' '
'...Our prosperity is based on exploiting you..'
'...Your poverty and weakness will ensure our wealth..'

Most people [that includes some of my family members and friends] find underground music are very disturbing, explicit, disrespectful and polluting the young listeners mind. This is especially imply to those who are into black metal... Well, I truly agree that black metal is somehow against some religions because it sometimes involve cults, worshiping and rituals. Like every other listener, I do experienced all sorts of accusation and shit from a 'third-party conservatives, narrow-minded and orthodox' people about what I'm listening to that said metal listeners are bad people, they do drugs, they worship evil, even worse they said metal music can destroy our future [WTF].. BUT screw them, I don't give a damn about it.. I listen for the sake of interests and the music itself and I know my religion and I never attempt to thrash it away and yes, I still have my future...
So please, for those who think the same way like those losers do, screw you.. ~
